Mary Ann Lederer

This Cincinnati artist is truly an inspiration to me, and maybe she will be after this to you. She started with a sociology degree in the 60's and was an avid civil rights promoter. When she was thirty five, someone broke into her house and shot her twice in the back, making her a paraplegic. Having to start over in a sense, she decided she was going to pursue something that she loved to do. She began painting, and the rest is history. You can find her paintings here and there around Cincinnati and I hope you seek them out. Paintings are always better in person. Here are a couple for you to see.
