I was lucky enough to have a wedding to attend and shoot in New Mexico, that just so happened to occur during the AIBF. To be honest, I wasn't that excited about it. Some hot air balloons, festival atmosphere, no big deal. When I arrived at 5:30 in the morning, I was freezing, and surprisingly amazed! The morning glow was a phenomenal sight, and the mass ascension that followed, was fantastic. At one point, it was honestly, almost overwhelming. We were in the middle of the balloon field standing in the back of a pick-up truck, taking it all in. Being completely surrounded by hundreds of balloons that are filling up and taking off, is an amazing sight to see! Here are just a few of the shots I got while I was there!
